Metal jacketed gasket

About Product

Metal Jacketed Gaskets are the most basic type of semi-metallic gaskets combing the high pressure suitability and blow out resistance of metallic materials with the improved compressibility of soft materials. Metal jacketed gaskets offer an economical seal where sealing faces are narrow and can be produced in a variety of shapes, making them a good option for heat exchanger Jointing

Metal Jacketed Gaskets can be manufactured to suit a range of chemical environments by the selection of a suitable jacketing metal, the following materials are available:

Type of Metal Jacketed Gasket

Double Jacketed Gasket

Used on high temperature and pressure application or where corrosion problems may exits

Single Jacketed Gasket

Used on applications  where poor or pitted flanges exits.

Single Corrugated (No Filler)

Used mainly in valve applications, small recess gap

Double Jacketed Corrugated (Soft Filler)

Reduced contact area, enhances compressive characteristics, suitable for uneven flanges
